Hey, I stumbled upon that golden status bar thing on the homepage. What's that all about?
Great comic BTW!
Thanks!
The golden thing is my Patreon Bar
It displays the level of support I receive on Patreon.com.
That’s a popular crowdfunding platform where people can support their favorite creators.
How does it work?
A bit like a subscription
You become my Patron - that's what they are actually called on Patreon - and pledge a small amount of money every month, like 1€ or 3€
You know, like buying me a cup of coffee once a month.

I actually don't drink coffee.
But you get the idea.
I see. And that status bar?
Right! So, the Patreon Bar is devided into 20 segments which represent the 20 work days of an average month.
With every new Patron, the bar extends a little bit more and when a new segment is filled, I'll have an additional day per month covered that I can invest into creating new pages for the Wormworld Saga, no matter what.
Alright. And the little gems are milestones on the way?
Exactly. Of course every additional day covered is an achievement but I've defined a bunch of milestone goals that have a specific meaning for the production.
You can hover your cursor over the gems to get info about the goals.
That's a cool setup!
There's actually more about the whole Patreon thing.
On Patreon.com I have a dedicated page, like a blog, where I post exclusive stuff for my Patrons.
And depending on the amount a Patron pledges, there are different rewards.
Rewards? Like on Kickstarter?
Yeah, kind of
Of course I need to be careful not to create too much extra work which would keep me from creating my comic...
But I think I've got a nice bunch of extras lined up for my Patrons.
Come on! What have you got?

Well, as a starter, you might have seen this guy here on the website:
Sure. That thing blocks me from the Making Of articles.

Right, but as a Patron you can simply use your Patreon account to login here on the website and all the special content is unlocked for you.
Cool!
Yeah, but that's really just a basic.
As a logged in Patron you're always 10 pages ahead of the public release here on the website.
And on the Patreon page you get behind the scenes info, downloads, you automatically participate in an original art lottery, and you can access exclusive livestreams.
Oh, and previews!
If you want, you can actually see all my panel artworks as soon as they are finished, months before the actual pages are published!
Got a link to that Patreon page?
Sure!

The rewards are all described in detail right on the overview page.
Won't hurt to have a look!
